My Approach

Firstly, may I say thank you for looking me up and spending some time researching my UK Wedding Photography services.  For me, wedding photography is all about relationships and delivering outstanding customer service.  The better I understand and relate to my couples the better the photographs will be.  So, I tend to approach my wedding photography in three stages;

Pre-Wedding

This involves the initial interactions between you, me and my team, it's all about getting to know each other and it starts today, with you reviewing my website, social media sites and hopefully having an initial chat on the phone or, better still, a video call via FaceTime, Skype, or Messenger where I can confirm my availability and have a brief chat about what it is you are after. I spend my time between the UK and Barbados, so a face to face meeting may take a little time to arrange but a video call is a great way to meet and for you to make that critical initial judgement.

Once booked you will receive a contract and closer to the wedding day we will book in your pre-wedding consultation. This is where we will discuss the finer points of your day such as timings, key people, activities and compile a list of the must have formal family photographs.  If you’ve booked a pre-wedding or engagement shoot then this will happen at the same time.

The Wedding day

This is generally a 10 to 15 hour day for me and my team (I nearly always work with an assistant) and I will always have visited the venue before your big day and established a relationship with the staff and any event planners. I tend to cover from the bridal preparations through to the first dance as standard but will happily continue longer if other events like fireworks or an eventful departure from the venue are planned.

Post Wedding

Within a few days I will post a short sneak preview slideshow of some of your images whilst I continue to professionally edit the rest in preparation for presenting them to you upon your return from honeymoon.  I like to present personally, but if that is not possible then we can use an on-line password protected proofing site.  At this stage I will also provide an initial draft design of your Queensberry Wedding Album which gives us a starting point to work from to ensure we tell the perfect story of your day and display your favourite photographs.

It generally takes about 5-6 weeks for your album to be delivered after you sign off the design.

From the time you book me to delivery of the last album or product, my team and I will support and work with you throughout.  Please take a look at my social media sites as these will help you better understand who I am and give you an opportunity to see more of my work.
