FAQ

I get asked many questions throughout the process and hope that I can provide some of the answers you need here. If you can't find what you are looking for please do not hesitate to ask me.

Which areas do I cover?

I am an International Wedding Photography who will travel anywhere to capture the story of your wedding day. I am, however based in Gloucestershire and Barbados throughout the year.  So, I tend to cover Gloucestershire, the Welsh Borders and Wye Valley, Wiltshire, The Cotswolds, Bristol and Bath areas.   I am very happy to travel across the UK and Europe if required. My wedding packages include travel costs up to 50-mile radius of GL15 6HH or anywhere on the Island of Barbados. For locations further afield, we will agree suitable travel and accommodation costs separately if required.

Am I insured?

Absolutely - I have professional indemnity insurance along with public liability insurance for myself and any staff I use on the day.

How do you book me?

I always like to meet my wedding clients and get to know them. I'm interested in your story - how you met, the proposal, the venue, the details. I love weddings and the better the relationship the better the photographs. During our meetings I will also show you examples of my work and sample albums from previous weddings. When you book I will provide a full e-contract which I require completed and signed along with a non-refundable deposit fee of £300, which can be paid by bank transfer or credit card. Unfortunately, I can't hold dates without the signed contract and fee.

Should we book an engagement shoot?

I would always suggest you do.  It’s hugely important to me that we have got to know each other before the wedding day and this shoot allows us to find out what works for you, what you like, and gives you the chance to experience what it’s like being in front of the camera before the wedding day.  Please give this shoot some consideration.  I would suggest we make a plan to do something fun and different.  Location is hugely important and I’ve used castles, bookshops, parks, country houses and beaches for these shoots before.  Many of my couples use their engagement shoot photographs for wedding stationery, guest books and signing boards which are displayed at their wedding.   Please have a look at my blog on Pre-wedding shoots

Can I provide prints for the guests?

Once I have presented your photographs to you (normally after you return from honeymoon) your images will be uploaded to a private (password protected) web gallery where your guests can directly order any size prints or download a digital file.

Do I retain the copyright?

Yes, I do because it is essential for my business, but you will receive a personalised USB with full print copyright permission of your selected images.  However, if Vogue Magazine, Country Life or any other publication want to publish one of your images I will always give you a call or drop you a line beforehand.
