Lydney Docks Photoshoot
The Forest of Dean is littered with great locations to hold a pre-wedding or, for that matter, any photoshoot. Whether it’s rural, urban or historical backdrops the Forest has them all. This Lydney Docks Photoshoot was done a week after the fantastic hot patch of weather we had and despite it not being cold the threat of rain is obvious to see in the images.
Claire and Peter commissioned me to photograph their wedding back in October last year and with only 8 weeks to go before the big day we got together for the all important and hugely fun pre-wedding shoot.
Like 90% of my couples, Claire and Peter arrived nervous insisting that they didn’t like being in front of the camera. Nevertheless we put them at ease and took it slowly at first allowing them to get into the feel of things and start too relax. For a self proclaimed nervous couple it took about 3 minutes before Claire was practicing her super model posing techniques.
