Owning my own photography business wasn’t something I ever thought about whilst growing up. I wanted action, adventure, responsibility and a job that would test me. With a successful and varied career as an Army Officer, Diving Instructor and Corporate Director, I finally followed my heart and set up Anthony Ball Photography in 2010.
I shot my first wedding in January of that year when I was asked by my Brother-in-Law to photograph his wedding and haven’t looked back! I have developed specialist interests in weddings, fine art equine and portraits, although I love all aspects of photography and regularly get commissioned for some really interesting commercial work.
As you will see from my photographs I love working in the great outdoors, making the most of natural light and fabulous landscapes. I especially love dramatic skies and evening light that help to create some great moody, fine art images.
My (working) style is all about being approachable and good humoured. By creating a fun and friendly atmosphere I guarantee that you will enjoy the process, allowing me to capture the very best images. I will exceed your expectations! (Have a look at my testimonials).
What do I enjoy most about my job?
I really like meeting new people and part of being a great photographer means building relationships with my clients and genuinely getting to know them. For most of my clients, being photographed by me is the first time they have worked with a professional photographer and so helping my clients to relax in front of me and my camera is something I excel at.
I like my images to tell a story, your story! Using the time we have together to create a variety of images that come together to capture a timeless reminder of your special occasion.
And the really, really best bit….the smile on your face and the tears in your eyes when you see the final images!
